About Aadya

Aadya started her journey in learning Bharatanatyam at an early age of four and a half.

She completed her Arangetram at an age of 12 on Oct 7th 2017 under the guidance of Guru Smt. Sivagami Vanka at Kalabarathi School of Dance, and has performed in several events in Portland and Salem under the guidance of her Guru.

Aadya is currently a student of Guru Smt. Vidyalakshmi Vinod at Nrityalaya School of Dance

Aadya started learning Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Smt. Anitha Menon at Portland. Subsequently after moving to Singapore, she continued her dedication to learning the art form under the tutelage of Smt. Akshaya Kumar and Kesavan sisters - Smt. Suganthi Kumaraguru and Smt. Jeyanthi Balasubramaniam. Aadya has had the opportunity to train under reputed Bharatanatyam dancers and gurus such as Sri A. Laxman Swamy

Besides Bharatanatyam, Aadya is plays flute for her school band. She wishes to use her talents in music and dance to raise funds for charitable causes for kids, cultural education and tolerance.
